Here's a close up of the outlets punched into the filter. I started out using sink strainers, but the filter overflowed. This picture shows the farthest one still having the sink strainer. It eventually took 4 of the 1-1/2" dia. PVC pipes to provide enough flow to prevent overflow. The bottom line is that the filter must drain faster than it is filled or it will over flow.
